Actually more like a comb-out. My human noticed that Boodie was looking messy again, and she had developed some mats on the lower part of her chest. So it was time to take her into the enclosed patio and give her a good combing. And Furminating too, because the weather is getting warmer.
My human uses my big comb instead of a brush because the comb gets more of her fur. Plus the big tines can work through the mats without being too painful. My human uses the wider side first, and then the smaller part of the comb once she gets Boodie’s fur under control. After all that is done, then she pulls out the Furminator to get even more fur.
You can tell the weather is warming up in California just by the size of Boodie’s fur pile!
Here is another angle, so you can see how much her fur spreads. There’s even some stuck to the paper towel roll! You don’t need to see how much of it got on my human who, incidentally, wears all black much of the time.
I was pretty amazed too. There is never that much fur when I get groomed. Good thing, ’cause I would be bald!
Boodie is lucky she didn’t get a bath… which I got the day after her grooming!
