I found Charlie’s eyes mesmerizing. He stared at me with a look that had a real history behind them.
Long and droopy whiskers, a soft yet tufty slightly matted coat. I knew he had a history but wasnt sure what.
I later found out he was a rescue cat, then became the pet of an eccentric sailor. He was recently given to a lady I met. She has no idea how old he was … more than 15 she thinks.
I was once told the eyes are the window to the soul. I found these eyes mesmerizing. This cat had a past.
