You are probably wondering what this thing on my head is. It’s a “catmas tree” hat… at least that’s what my human called it at this weekend’s cat show. The name of this show was “Cats and Hats,” and at lunchtime, they had a contest involving cats wearing hats. I’ve entered every year, and you may recall, last year I won Best Hat. This was my entry for this year. Yes, my human strung lights on the hat. This time I only got third — the winner was a cat wearing a cow hat that talked! But that’s okay — I still got $20 for my efforts. After the contest was over, I decided to try some selfies wearing the hat.
It turned out to be harder than I thought!
Trying to keep the hat on and take a photo at the same time required a lot of dexterity. This was one time I really could have used thumbs.
I almost got it here, if the hat hadn’t kept slipping to one side.
Well, it sounded like a fun idea… but it didn’t turn out that way. I guess the next to last photo is as good as you’re going to get.
