Kidnap and Catnip in the Old West

A new cat fiction novel is clawing its way up the bestseller list!  The protagonist in this story is a suave, precocious card-playing catanova named Elvis.  Oh, and he’s a cat!

Introducing Elvis the Gunslinger!

As aptly noted in the title, this is a wild west adventure tale including both catnip and kidnap with a feline anti-hero that steps well outside the traditional fiction genre box.  When a heroically-thwarted arson attempt is followed by a seductive “morning after” breakfast tableau, it’s clear that this is not your bedside children’s cute kitty book.  * You can win a copy – details below *

Elvis the Gunslinger is an action and adventure novel laced with nuanced and naughty cat characters full of surprises. With a trusty sidekick, he’s soon off to settle a score with a long-forgotten enemy – a crusty mobster who has catnapped the only son of a wealthy and admired captain of industry.

Elvis the Gunslinger stands at the intersection of James Bond and John Wayne.  Purrfect role models for this feline protagonist!

Take a train across the landscape and then saddle up and ride into the hills to watch him work his magic, with unforgettable personalities navigating unpredictable twists and turns. Try as enemies might to stop him, Elvis the Gunslinger is always a step ahead, be it by luck, serendipity or maybe because he’s just a little wilier than the rest.

Hey, if the good guys are going to win, shouldn’t they have a little fun while they’re at it?  >^..^<

The debut novel from Romey Connell, combines creative adventure with page-turning plot. [photo below is the real Elvis and his hooman (aka the author) Romey]
