It is no secret that girls tend to worry much more about appearance than their male counterparts. So when it comes to choosing a tattoo for a girl, a lengthy time thinking about which design to get engrained onto her skin is most certainly necessary.
I strongly advise against getting generic tattoos. Generic tattoos are everywhere and you can bet that if you choose a generic and mainstream design, there will be at least 10,000 other people walking around with the exact same design permanently printed onto their skin as well.
Tattoos of animals are a big hit amongst animal loving girls. Whether it’s a tattoo of their favourite breed of dog, a horse or a cat, as long as girls still love animals, animal tattoos will be rife.
Symbolic tattoos are also a massive hit amongst many girls. Oriental and ancient symbols make up a large percentage of tattoos. Since tattoos last a lifetime, many people decide that they want their tattoo to mean something. Once again, there are hundreds of tattoos out there that fit into the symbolic category, many of them generic, fortunately though, there’s a way to find tens of thousands of unique tattoo designs you’ve probably never ever seen before.
Tattoos are for life, that’s why I always advise that you spend as long as possible in what I call the “decision phase”. The period in time where you decide which tattoo design you want for the rest of your time on this planet.
You can find a whole host of tattoo artwork right here on the internet. Unfortunately, most online tattoo galleries only contain generic designs, but if you look hard enough and you choose the correct galleries (not found in major search engines) you can uncover tens of thousands of unique tattoo artwork that even most tattooists won’t have seen before.
After using most of the tattoo galleries on the internet, I have only found three galleries that have so far been worth my time.
